Kathy is powerful.  And tender.  She can roar and she can whisper.  Above all, Kathy tells the stories for true.  When she welcomes you into a story, it’s like she’s bringing you into the company of all of her grandmothers.  All of their voices sing along with her.  Every time she finishes a story, I find myself hoping that she will tell yet one more.”  –Richard Swanson, Professor, Augustana University
